To monitor and analyse the financial side of the programmes Liliane Fonds is supporting worldwide, we are looking for a:
Financial Adviser Programmes
This is a paid position for 32 - 36 hours per week.

What will you do?
As Financial Adviser, you are responsible for the financial monitoring of programmes that are implemented by grant managers and their partner organisations in the countries where Liliane Fonds is active. Financial monitoring and analysing by assessing proposals, reports and audits, advising grant managers on financial matters are important areas of attention. In addition, you support the Programmes Department with due diligence checks and develop and implement procedures or processes within your area of expertise. You will work closely with the Programme Managers, who are responsible for the programmes in the various countries.
Furthermore, you support your colleagues from the Programme Department in allocating budgets and financial accountability, and provide input for management information to the Programmes Director. For this, you collaborate closely with the team Finance and Control of the Operations Department.
Finally, you support the Institutional Fundraising team in developing budgets for programmes that are submitted to donors, and you are responsible for the financial monitoring and reporting of funded programs to institutional donors.
As Financial adviser you are part of the Programme Management team of the Programme Department and receive guidance from the Manager Programme Management.
Who are you and what do you bring?
- You are proactive and have strong analytical skills; you are capable of interpreting financial data and practices to arrive at substantiated assessments.
- You have a Master degree in a relevant area.
- You have extensive knowledge of complex financial systems and methodologies.
- You have knowledge of and experience with Project Cycle Management and financial project administration of comparable organisations.
- Having several years of relevant work experience in the global south is an advantage.
- You have communication skills in English at a professional level (C2 level) and at least basic Dutch language skills (A2 level) or the willingness to learn this. Proficiency in French is a strong advantage.
- You are residing in the Netherlands or in possession of a valid work permit to work in the European Union.

What does Liliane Fonds offer?

You will receive a salary between € 3.244,- and € 5.214,- gross per month (based on full-time employment of 38 hours per week) and an appointment for one year, with the prospect of an appointment for an indefinite period of time in case of mutual satisfaction.
