Celebrate the SheDecides Day by participating in the Share-Net Netherlands online campaign

SheDecides was launched at the start of 2017 as an urgent reaction to the Global Gag Rule. On 2nd March 2017, the first SheDecides conference was held in Brussels. More than 50 governments attended the conference, among 450 participants including youth leaders, parliamentarians and representatives from UN agencies, NGOs, private foundations and the private sector. It has rapidly evolved from two words to a one-day conference into a global, political movement.

What will we do?

The Share-Net Working Group “Contraception & Abortion” and the Secretariat developed the idea to generate attention for the global movement SheDecides through an online campaign. Not just one day, but a one week campaign, starting from the 2nd of March (SheDecides Day) through the 8th of March (International Women’s Day).

Call for action!

The Share-Net Secretariat will coordinate the sharing of your stories related to SheDecides on Share-Nets social media platforms (Facebook,Twitter and LinkedIn). We will make sure that every day of that week we share some stories, and we will try to put diverse stories online. Help us retweeting and sharing all our posts and tweets during that week.

 

Finally, on the 8th of March, the Secretariat will send out a very special issue of the Share-Net Newsletter, putting together all the stories shared by the members. 

 

By joining forces we will be able to draw attention to SheDecides, the global movement to promote, provide, protect and enhance the fundamental rights of every girl and woman.
