The NALACS thesis award 2010-2011 operates according to the following criteria: The thesis must have been completed between 1 September 2010 and 1 September 2011 and must have received a grade of 8 or higher. The candidate must have graduated (or be about to graduate) from a Dutch university or academic institution.
The thesis must be based on the candidate’s own research, with a theoretical basis and use of primary sources. The thesis must be written in Dutch, English or Spanish.
The jury’s selection of the winning theses will be based primarily on the following criteria:
1) scientific quality and originality;
2) style of writing and structure of the thesis;
3) social relevance of the topic.
Send three copies of your thesis to NALACS, c/o CEDLA, Keizersgracht 395-397, 1016 EK Amsterdam, before 7 September 2011, mentioning ‘NALACS scriptieprijs 2010-2011’. The jury’s decision is final and is no correspondence will be entered into. For more information, e-mail nalacs@cedla.nl
