My interest lies with interacting and communicating with people to enable them to achieve their objectives or meet their needs. I am a liable person with great organisational skills, I am used to working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines. Furthermore, I am enthusiastic, flexible, like to think outside the box and have a good sense of humour. I like to think of myself as a spin in the web.

Ervaring
Due to my previous work for EUFAMI in managing the Prospect project and the Prospect Development Centre between 2002 and 2007, I was invited to return and manage the new Prospect Plus project.
I had overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, control and continuation of the Project.
An important part of this role was communication with project members, the sponsor Johnson & Johnson, EUFAMI members, EUFAMI staff and the Board of Directors.
Provide specialised medical care to geriatric and mental health patients in the home setting. Develop and manage nursing care treatment plans.
Educate patients on health and medical self-care.
Assist doctors in providing medical care to patients at home.
Organising and actively participating in management and team meetings.
Ensure quality control - use and update home environment policies and procedures.
My focus was on providing project support for emergency operations and emergency appeals, emergency response and Shelter Deployments. I was responsible for the coordination, monitoring and follow-up of ongoing and new emergency operations worldwide. Each operation was considered a project and at any given time there were at least 5 ongoing projects.
Key components included preparing and producing financial reports, plans and grant applications for both internal and external purposes. I communicated regularly with Red Cross partners worldwide, Red Cross field delegations and government funding agencies. I organised the department's agenda and scheduled internal and external meetings.
I successfully led this complex project involving 16 partners in 11 European countries, supported by major donors from industry and government (Lily Pharmaceuticals and the European Commission's Leonardo da Vinci programme). The project developed and produced three training programmes and a Common Ground Module. These were used across Europe to improve the quality of care and well-being of people with mental health problems by encouraging 3-way communication between target groups and improving the coping skills of family and informal caregivers. After the first 3 years, I led the transition to the ongoing support platform, the EUFAMI Prospect Development Centre.
I was responsible for managing and coordinating the Gulliver’s Connect Programme - a multi-country training project. I maintained communication with the three funding partners: The Open Society Institute in Budapest, Hungary, KulturKontakt in Vienna, Austria and the Red House in Sofia, Bulgaria. I was also responsible for communication with the programme's beneficiaries. These were young emerging artists and cultural organisations in Central and Eastern Europe. I coordinated and managed training placements between these two target groups.
