I started at this organisation as an intern during university. During that time, I worked as a shelter advocate in the sex trafficking unit and in the homeless shelter. I was working directly with clients to assess their safety and housing needs. I was hired after university to work as a prevention specialist. In this role, I interviewed, and assessed situations of families that were struggling financially and assisted them by finding funds to keep these families stably housed.
